Women Preachers and II John verses 9-11

I can’t think of anything more decisively taught in the Bible than the fact that women should not preach in church. Notice the following two passages …I Corinthians 14:34-35 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.I Timothy 2:11-12 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. In spite of the clarity with which the practice of “women preachers” is condemned in the Bible, most congregations allow such. Me thinks they are more concerned with doing what they feel is best and what they want to do than they are concerned about doing what God actually says. And what if you a member of a congregation that allows women to teach from the pulpit? Wouldn’t the following passage describe your standing before God? …II John verses 9-11 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed : For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
