Does Matthew 19:14 Prove Infant Baptism Is Scriptural ?

Advocates of infant baptism like to use Matthew 19:14 (“Suffer little children … to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven”) to support their case. But if this verse is saying children are in God’s kingdom, then it proves children are born innocent of sin, and that is why they are in the kingdom (that is, until they become sinners). But I doubt that is what Matthew 19:14 is saying. Compare to Matthew 18:1-4: At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. So Matthew 19:14 is not actually saying children are in the kingdom, but that to enter into the kingdom, we must become like little children, that is, we must have the humility of a child.None of these verses mention that these children were to be baptized. Jesus certainly missed a golden opportunity here to tell us about infant baptism if that is what He desired to take place.
