Why So Many Interpretations Of The Bible?

Why are there so many different interpretations of the Bible? These passages reveal why:· II Thessalonians 2:10: And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.· Matthew 13:15: For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted …To illustrate, I Corinthians 14:34-35 reads: Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. (see also I Timothy 2:11-12). Yet women are allowed to preach from the pulpits of probably 90% of congregations in the USA.Is I Cor 14:34-35 hard to interpret, or is the problem a lack of love of the truth on the part of many of its readers?
