The Watchtower Society Is Wrong When They Say Jesus Is Not Deity - Acts 20:28

The Watchtower Witnesses claim Jesus is not really God, that he was formally only Michael the archangel. But the Bible teaches in a number of places that Jesus is God. One such place is Acts 20:28. Notice four translations of that verse:· KJV … to feed the church of God, which He hath purchased with His own blood.· NKJV … the church of God which He purchased with His own blood· NASV … the church of God which He purchased with His own blood· NIV … the church of God, which he bought with his own bloodActs 20:28 has to be calling Jesus God since Jesus is the one who actually shed blood. It can’t be talking about God the Father since the Father has never had any blood (John 4:24a, Luke 24:39b). The following verses additionally confirm it was Jesus who shed his blood:· Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ …that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood.· Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.So Jesus is God - at least according to the Bible He is.
