Does “Doctrine OF Christ” in II John 9 Mean Doctrine “From Christ” Or “About Christ”?

When II John 9 says “Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God,” does “doctrine of Christ” mean the “doctrine from Christ” or the “doctrine about Christ”? If it means “doctrine from Christ,” that would show any violation of God’s word causes us to be lost, right? Not so if it is just limited to those “who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh” (7), a “doctrine about Christ.” For the answer to this extremely important question, consider what that same sentence form means in the below texts: does “of” mean “from” or “about” in the following?

Matt 16:12 Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

Acts 13:12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.
