Women Preachers - What Is The Issue ?

When we say God forbids women preachers, the issue is not → May women preach (teach the gospel) outside the assembly of the church? I agree that they can, and they must. The following Bible passages prove such:• Acts 8:1,4 - the whole church (including the women) "went everywhere preaching the word."• Acts 2:17 - "your daughters shall prophesy” (preach through inspiration)• Acts 21:8-9 - Philip had four virgin daughters "which did prophesy"• Titus 2:3-4 - the aged women are to teach (God’s new testament law) to young womenNotice it is scriptural for women to teach the gospel, as long as they don't do it in the assembly of the church (I Corinthians 14:34-35), and as long as they don't teach "over" the man (I Timothy 2:12). For example, a woman could teach a ladies or children’s Bible class at her home, or even at the church building.The issue is → May women preach to the assembly of the church? 90% of United States congregations allow that. The Bible unmistakably says they should not.
